Opera – Act One (1970)

Another example of an outstanding team that, despite the phenomenal music failed to address well-deserved success. In Act One
appear as a group, which had the ambition to follow the trail set by Keith Emerson, and who lived through the land of classical music.
The album is full of quotes of various composers, all well-connected and played with expression. Presentation of the Beggar's Opera does not stop even for a moment, the music is very lively, dynamic, decorated with operatic vocals by Martin Griffiths.
Like the next two, this is one of my favorite albums in general.
